Preparation of plasticized spinning polyacrylonitrile fibers using 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride: A review

چکیده
Ionic liquid, as a green solvent, has been widely used in high-tech fields. One of the uses is an excellent plasticizer for polymers, and good plasticizing effect can be achieved these polymers. 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl) kind ionic it possesses low melting point, strong polarity, high temperature stability, other characteristics, which highly effective polyacrylonitrile (PAN) to achieve plasticized spinning. In this review, PAN fibers, mechanism, raw material preparation, spinning process adjustment, structural chemical change, fiber properties were summarized. At same time, related reports on composite fibers reviewed well. The field that not yet studied depth was also discussed paper. It hoped paper will provide important basis those people who engaged further study (PAN composite) fibers.

In this study, a one-pot and efficient method is reported for the synthesis of symmetrical disulfides from alkyl halides in the present of sulfur and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydroxide as a basic reagent and phase transfer catalyst. The reaction proceeded very fast and afforded the desired products in moderate to excellent isolated yields.
